AAVA 2012 Annual Meeting Site Selected

It’s official! The AAVA Board of Directors have decided on Charleston, South Carolina as the location for the 2012 annual meeting. Charleston was first settled by English settlers in 1670 and is the oldest city in the state of South Carolina. The city and area has historical significance in the American colonial period, Revolutionary period, and Civil War. The city and surrounding area contain structures from pre-revolution, antebellum, and of significance during the Civil War. Included among these are plantations and Fort Sumter in the Charleston Harbor, where the first shots of the Civil War were targeted. This makes the 2012 AAVA Annual Meeting a not to be missed educational experience for veterinary acupuncturists, but also a worthwhile trip for family members to experience American history. Watch our site for more information as plans develop.
