Travel Tip For AVMA Conv. Attendees
Here is a travel tip from Dr. Robert (Robbie) Schwyzer, our rep in the AAVA info booth at the AVMA convention exhibitor’s floor. If you will be staying near the convention center, Robbie used the MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) subway line to get to his hotel, which is the Marriott Marquis. He says you can take the Red or the Gold line toward the Peachtree Center Station. There is a 4 or 7 day “Breeze” unlimited use ticket that can be purchased. The 4 day Breeze is $15 and the 7 day ticket is $20. Compared to the $16.50 one way shuttle service quoted on the hotel site, it’s a great value! In addition, the East/West Blue/Green line has a stop at the convention site.
